Nigel is the our motivational speaker for this years Flinders Island Running Festival. He will speak at the Pasta Night on Friday 30th August.
Nigel is the author of three very funny books about life – ‘Fat, Forty and Fired’, ‘Overworked and Underlaid’ and ‘Fit, Fifty and Fired-Up’ His first book is currently being developed into a major TV series in America by the creators of ‘Two and a Half Men’.
He is also the co-founder of Earth Hour, consults to a select group of leading CEOs and is Special Advisor to the Australian Indigenous Education Foundation.
Nigel is in high demand around the world as a public speaker. He also happens to love Islands and going to interesting places so we were able convince him that Flinders Island is the place to be.
You can view one of his TED speeches on youtube at www.ted.com/talks/nigelmarsh - he is the most viewed Australian with well over a million hits. It's really worth watching for the laugh.
And the best thing is you don’t have to actually do any running to come to the pasta night (although we would love you to pull out the runners on Saturday or Sunday) but we would really love you to book ahead to help us with catering plans.
